Walk & Train Sessions

Our Walk & Train sessions are designed for busy Hudson Valley owners who want their dogs to get high-quality mental enrichment, physical exercise, and professional training all at once. Instead of a standard dog walker, your dog gets a certified positive reinforcement trainer working with them in real-time on real-world skills.

What we focus on during our outings:

• Loose-Leash Mastery: Transforming frantic pulling into a relaxed, focused heel along your neighborhood streets or local trails.

• Rock-Solid Recall: Building a bulletproof response to the "come" command around real-world distractions like squirrels, bikes, and other dogs.

• Urban Agility & Confidence Building: Turning the local landscape into a fun, force-free confidence course! We safely use park benches, low walls, tree stumps, and curbs to teach your dog to climb, balance, and pivot. This active mental enrichment burns excess energy, sharpens their body awareness, and supercharges their focus on the handler.

• Decompression & Enrichment: Blending structured training intervals with vital "sniffari" breaks to satisfy your dog's mental needs and lower stress.

How it works:
I come to your home, pick up your dog, and take them out for an intensive, force-free training walk. You don't even need to be home! After each session, you receive a video clip of our progress and a quick breakthrough text so you know exactly how your dog did and how to maintain the behavior.

Our standard Walk & Train services proudly cover a 10-mile radius from Hillsdale NY, covering neighborhoods like Copake, Claverack, Ghent, Chatham, Hudson, Egremont, MA.

• Within 10 Miles: Complimentary travel. The price you see is exactly what you pay.

• Outside 10 Miles: We are happy to travel to extended Hudson Valley areas! Out-of-area locations incur a travel fee of $1.50 per additional mile to cover time and vehicle wear.
